Y'ALL!!! Y'ALLLLLLLL!!!! I am shaking and sweating and holy f**king burning hell fires this was a phenomenal book!
Most series sort of decline in quality as the books progress and I really couldn't see how Susan Dennard could top Sightwitch since I adored that little book. BUT SHE DID IT!!! IN FACT, SHE BLEW IT OUT OF THE WATER!!!!
If you're ready for more unparalleled world-building, intense character development, sweet friendship bonds, masterful storytelling, and extremely satisfying yet heart-wrenching events, then get on this book now!!! It is honestly hard for me to put into words how fully Bloodwitch has destroyed me and then put me back together again.
I tried to pace myself while reading it because I wanted to bask in the Witchlands for longer than I normally do, since I typically read one of these books in half a day. Alas, I barely succeeded in lasting a few days since it was so difficult to put down! With all the perspectives and something insane happening at every turn, I promise you will be blowing through this book like I was. Seriously, I don't know where Susan Dennard comes up with this stuff. It's insane and I never saw things coming.
I love love love this series partially because of the female character and all the female friendships and power going on. In Bloodwitch , you will find heaps more of these bad-ass women learning and developing and kicking ass (especially the love of my life and main bitch, Vivia)!!!
And since this is Baeduan's book - excuse me - Aeduan's book, I was in a sweet happy place because he is wonderful and his personal journey throughout this story was phenomenal. I swear he becomes more and more swoon-worthy with every book.
Now, since I'm getting really close to revealing spoilers because I have no one to talk to this about yet, I'm going to stop here and just say: GO PREORDER/BUY BLOODWITCH NOW ! You'll thank me later!
