Action and Lore
If, like me, you've been reading the Witchlands as each book is published, I highly recommend re-reading the first two books before Bloodwitch. Also, reading the Sightwitch novella is a must. There were so many characters and interconnecting story lines that I spent a good bit of time just remembering who was who. By the final pages, I was in love with Iseult, Safi, and the rest of the gang all over again.
Given the Aeduan-centric synopsis, and the title, I was anticipating a lot of Bloodwitch action in the story. However, Aeduan and Iseult share page time nearly equally with Safi and the others.
I'm not 100% sure what is going on with the lore, but I'm 100% here for it.
