There is a lot going on...

I wasn't expecting the switching from character to character right out of the gate. I happen to really like that style of writing so I am on board. The bad thing is because there is so much jumping around from chapter to chapter there isn't much world building. So you definitely can not start here, this is not a stand alone novel. The good thing is what is happening isn't confusing but intriguing so going back to the beginning is something these chapters inspire.
