The world that Susan Dennard has created is unlike any other; her story, characters and world is so fleshed out and makes you yearn for more. This first impression was everything I could have wanted. It introduces a new point of view in Stix, visits most of the viewpoints we have experienced already. It creates more mystery in regards to the overall story, while giving more background to Aeduan's life. These seven chapters are paced perfectly, there's excitement, political intrigue and magic. Simply said, I cannot wait to have this story in my hands and see how everything plays out.
