Hmmmm I may have to continue this series...

I have read the first book of this series, and I was iffy about it. The world wasn't developed enough (we are kinda just thrown into it and expected to understand the magic system and everything), and something just felt off about it (especially the romance). However, I'm hooked just from reading a little bit of the first look, and the idea of seeing more of Audean's past is exciting! I think I may have to try the second one soon. I'm a fan of second chances ;)
