Susan Dennard's WITCHLANDS series is capitvating and engrossing, built up from a world that lives and breathes seemingly on its own. It's characters stick like burrs to your heart the more you get to know them. When I got to the end of the exerpt, I tried to keep scrolling for desperate seconds--I need more!! Can't wait for February when this book comes out! (But in the meantime, if you haven't read the novella already, READ SIGHTWITCH! Even from just the first seven chapters, I can tell you that you'll be very glad you did.)
