Flawless and fast-paced
Susan Dennard is a master storyteller. From worldbuilding to character arcs to twisty surprises, she weaves stories that are as rich as they are compelling. Reading the first seven chapters of Bloodwitch solidified what I already knew as a fan of the Witchlands series: this story is gonna be good. It feels like a giddy privilege to be allowed into each of the character's thoughts. And can we talk about how smoothly Susan switches between POV while building tension? Because, yeah, it's really, really flawless.
With prose that will leave you punchdrunk, and pacing that will leave you wanting more, Bloodwitch without a doubt will be a fast-paced and epic installment of the Witchlands novels.
