February can't come fast enough
I have so many new theories about this world! About the characters! Spoilers below:
I just about died when Merik saved Cam from falling off the cliff, and used his wind magic to stop him from falling. I loved that so much, how much he cares about Cam now.
And then everything with Vivia! I felt her disappointment so viscerally! Part of that is knowing how it feels when someone else gets labeled the thing you reserved for yourself. The other part of it is where she is now. People taking credit from her, and her being in a position where that credit needs to be given to her, so that her people will learn to love and trust her the way they trust her father, was such an intense thing.
And Stix! I have such theories! Does this have ANYTHING to do with the Sightwitches at ALL??
And that moment between Iseult and Aeduan -- be still my heart!
And honestly, it's probably impossible, but I want Safi and Rokesh to have a little romance. Just because I like the guards-and-royals romances.
Ugh. I hate waiting. I already love this book so much.
