Cautiously Optimistic

The book has an interesting premise! All the powers sound so cool! I've never read the series before, so this was an introduction of sorts for me. I love the writing style so far, but...something was missing for me. Maybe it's because I don't know all the characters yet.

The cover is amazing!!! I'm absolutely in love with it! And I wouldn't object to reading a bit more of the book, if only to find out more about the world the characters live in.
