The cover is so amazing. The way that the main character Aeduan is coming at the reader with cloak flying out behind him and sword in hand is just amazing. As for the excerpt, the different POV are so intriguing, that even though I know the characters and their backstories, I like how much MORE we get. I need to read more, to see how Aeduan is going to reconcile what he has known with what he wants, and I want to learn more about why Iseult is showing fire powers and I want to know the origin of Owl and what happens to Safi and Vaness and Vivia and Stix and Merik and Kyber! Susan's writing is so profound, that I am always clamouring for more.
