An unforgettable fantasy

This series has been on my TBR for a long time, and seeing a glimpse into the third book has me reeling to get my hands on them. The feel of action, dark fantasy and interesting characters seem to have made a lasting impression that I'd love to understand better because the third book seems amazing.
