This book was truly incredible. From the amazing powers the main character has to the life she lives among her friends. When a string of murders begins she helps investigate the happenings of the town while falling madly in love with the new detective that takes the case. As she learns new things about him and his life she discovers some new things about herself as well. Like where she comes from and what she can really truly do with all that magic and power she’s recently discovered she has including figuring out the truth about her parents and what really happened to them for her to end up in the little orphanage she was in before she started working the job that would change her life as she knew it. A truly incredible story about life love and perseverance despite what life wants to throw at you left and right. Thriller, romance, secrets.
