I want to start by saying I have not read this book before, this is kinda just my first impressions from the sneak peek, anyways…I’m not the biggest fan of mystery, but this is totally a book I would love to give a try. I’m already wondering what’s gonna happen next and I’ve only read 3 chapters. I’m a fan of gore, and this book is giving. I loved the detailed descriptions of the murder that happens and how scary it sounds. I already really like the main character, I can’t wait to see how she develops and grows in her new found “abilities”. Also I feel the need to comment on the cover of this book, because wow!! It is absolutely gorgeous! I know lots of people aren’t fans of the real looking people on covers, and I would probably put myself into that category, but sometimes there are book covers that are just too pretty, and this is definitely one of them. In case you curious to why I selected four stars instead of five, it just seems a bit confusing, but not in a bad way. And maybe that’s how most mystery books are but there were a few sections I had to reread because they didn’t make sense the first time. Nonetheless, this book sounds amazing & I would love to read more!!
