I love fantasy books and I love thriller books, so this book by Erin Beaty is the perfect combination for me to enjoy. I enjoyed the world-building that the author created, as it pulls you in to read more. When Catrin hears the phantom voice around her and sees Perrete laying bloody on the ground, the imagery is so intense that I could vividly see the scene play out in front of me. I love this writing style and this plot line is so interesting, I want to keep reading more.
