This excerpt of Blood and Moonlight really lived up to the book's title! I liked how it gets straight into Catrin's duty of looking for building construction flaws. Soon after, Catrin hears a cry for help and sees a disturbing scene: a murder victim's body. I'm definitely intrigued after reading this excerpt but hope it won't be too grisly for me! The cover is quite well-designed and eye-catching.
