Blood and moonlight is set in a seemingly medieval time and focuses on Catrin, an orphan who works for a master architect. With her ability to see the faults in building construction, she accidentally witnesses a nighttime murder and becomes central to the ensuing investigation, led by Simon. Overall, the setting and premise of the story seem interesting and draw the reader in in a short number of pages.
The jacket cover is slightly odd, as there don't seem to be any vines present in the story but still bely the fantasy undertones in this story. This will likely be an interesting read!
