This was a perfect and unique start to a fantasy crime novel. I try to look for fantasy crime novels, which is why I love the Dresden Files so much. But this is totally different. I love the atmosphere and the characters were intriguing. It has such a beautiful and ominous cover. This is definitely a book to read on a nice rainy day or even at night. I can't wait.
