Before I go off and say what I thought of this book... I just want to say one thing. I want a magic sword now.
Now on with the book. It's about a blacksmith named Ziva who can make magical weapons. The only problem, she hates being around people. She suffers from panic attacks and more. She gets too anxious if she's around anybody too long. Her sister, however, is the complete opposite. Lucky for Ziva, her sister does most of the talking so that's a wonderful thing for Ziva.
Now I won't go spoiling the whole book but here's the gist of it.
Ziva makes a weapon that could be a potential danger to the whole world. She runs away with her sister to try to go into hiding. They hire a mercenary to protect them. A scholar decided to go along for the ride because he wanted to know more about Ziva's magic.
I really enjoy the whole book. The whole time, you could relate to Ziva's social anxiety. Then you feel her trying to get to know a guy but each time, she gets unsuccessful or does she? I can't tell you.
If you really must know, you must read the book.
