Hoh boy, that was certainly a way to end a book...... This one really hits some of my favorite things in fantasy. Adventure? Romance? Sword fights? Witty banter? Check em all. It was very refreshing to see social anxiety representation. And in a YA fantasy novel?! I think the author did such a great job depicting this authentically. Her loved ones don't make her feel any less and accept her for who she is. Ziva is a reluctant hero, who prefers metal to people, who is a good person and wants to make sure her creation doesn't fall into the wrong hands. The plot of was entertaining and kept me hooked, even just from the sample pages I read. It is fast paced, and doesn't slump on moving the story along. The romance was gentle and sweet. I really enjoyed all four main characters. Also sisterly bonds, always here for it. I'm excited to pick up the next book.
