It took me a while to get into. i really loved her other books, the shadows between us, and this one was good too! and while the book itself was good, it didn't scream amazing to me, which is why i gave it a three out of five. It's still a good read though, if you happen to pick it up! It was entertaining, something was just missing for me to be able to bump it up to a higher rating. the writing itself was good though and i will probably read the next book to hopefully get drawn in more! I liked the main characters abilities as well as the sisterly bond between the side characters. that was fun to read! it made me laugh sometimes too! but again i just felt like something was missing or one dimensional. I will say that secret eater was kind of weird, i am not sure where we're going with that but the name was a bit off putting as well. hopefully this story wraps up nicely
