Absolutely love it. The world building is gorgeous and easy to understand. The magic is explain so perfectly. Nothing made me confuse like other fantasy worlds. Even the characters are completely their own selves.

Ziva has a lot of responsibility of being a older sister with no parents. She have to take care of her little sister, Temra, while also working. Ziva is a bladesmith, emerging magic into any weapon she makes, she loves working as it keeps her busy from talking to other people. She is the perfect example of what happens when someone have social anxiety. It's amazing how Tricia Levenseller doesn't down play it as only "shy".

There is hardly any books with the blacksmith as a main character, especially them being female. I absolutely enjoy reading from a female blacksmith POV with detail of strength and muscles that came from the job. I need more!
