Overall, I really enjoyed this book! Stories with swords aren't usually something I gravitate towards, but I'm glad I picked this book up and gave it a shot.

First of all, I really enjoyed how this book portrayed anxiety in general, and social anxiety more specifically. In my opinion, it was realistic, and made the main character really relatable. I also appreciate that her family accepted her for who she was, despite her anxiety.

Also, as much as I love morally grey protagonists and anti-heroes, I appreciated that our main character, Ziva, was a genuinely good person that doesn't want her weapons to get into the wrong hands. It was nice to see this, and it was nice to see a sweet relationship and loving sisterly bonds.

This wasn't the best YA fantasy I've ever read, but I think people who are fans of Arthurian retellings would enjoy this book, and should give it a read.
