Blade of Secrets was my first Tricia Levenseller book. I have three other books by her on my shelf, and they have been bumped up on my TBR.
This book was a pure enjoyment read for me. It was so easy to get lost in the pages and just enjoy the adventure.
Ziva was a really interesting character. I loved the portrayal of her social anxiety and how introverted she was. I loved her magic and how it worked as well; it was completely fascinating.
The secondary characters were top-notch. Temra, Petrik and Kellyn were each intriguing in their own right. I actually would have really loved to read their POVs. I'm definitely a multiple POV kind of gal.
I'm interested in the sequel to Blade of Secrets, and I hope it's as consuming as this story.
