I am a huge fan of duologies and this one is especially intriguing. I always connect well with teenagers who struggle with things like anxiety, and being set in a magical fantasy world is even better! Ziva is already incredibly easy to relate to and I am really excited and intrigued to see where this journey takes her. I love the idea of her being especially skilled as a blacksmith, and that is what sets her apart from others! I love a but a romance too so the mention of a "handsome mercenary" makes for an especially interesting story to tell! I think this plot is a fresh new idea that will work really well with the characters described, excited to read more!
