First I love that this is the first book in a series. Ziva sounds like a girl of sound mind doing the right thing but at a great cost. The mysterious man they don’t name right away adds that potential love interest but even if it doesn’t go there the story will carry on its own. Will the warlord obtain the sword, will Ziva outwit him? You won’t know & that’s exciting!
