I haven't read anything by this author, but after reading the excerpt of Blade of Secrets, I am definitely going to seek out more of her writing! I don't know much about smithing (or even if that's the correct verb) but I like the idea of a female blacksmith able to make enchanted weapons, who has immense power, yet, incredible fear of social gatherings. Ziva is an interesting, contrasting character, and I want to keep reading to discover what she will do and how she will interact.
