I wasn't sure exactly if this would be my kind of book when just looking at the cover. It has a very high fantasy feel, and I'm more partial to low fantasy. But I found the description interesting, and the first look definitely has me intrigued. I like the voice and the easy readability, and this feels like a protagonist I could really enjoy reading about. I love that we are starting to see more mental health representation in YA fantasy and I can't wait to read how this book continues to handle that!
