Heroine with social anxiety? I’m so in!
Upon first look, the cover is absolutely stunning. I love the details you can see of the blade such as the bird and the fire. It makes me wonder whether those details are relevant to the plot of the story and if they are a key to finding someone who is worthy of the blade. The fire itself is mesmerizing to look at and so realistic looking that I was immediately interested in knowing what this book was about.
While I was reading the First Look, I became completely engrossed in the story and wanted to know more. As someone with social anxiety myself, I’ve never seen a book tackle the issue of it so I’m extremely fascinated to learn more about Ziva’s battle with herself along with the battle to keep the sword and her sister safe.
Romance can be hard for someone with social anxiety so I can’t wait to see how Ziva’s relationship with the handsome mercenary evolves!
This book sounds like it not only has such a riveting plot but I also feel like it will be a powerful book to those with social anxiety and I’m so excited to read it.
