The first two chapters were a great start to a fantasy novel. I was intrigue by the magical weapons being forged and want to learn more. The sisters seem like well rounded and true to life characters and you can tell that they have a very close bond. I didn't really think the cover was very eye catching, it's not one I would have picked out in the store. However, once I opened the book to the map, it made me want to read it. I love having a detailed map in a fantasy book!
