I haven't read any of Tricia Levenseller's previous novels. However, after reading the excerpt of "Blade of Secrets" , I will definitely add her previous novels to my list!
The first 22 pages of "Blade of Secrets" were quite intriguing. The main character, Zivan, appears to be shy with little to no self-confidence. However, she has magical powers that allow her to forge weapons that others seek out. Zivan is able to support herself and her sister, while saving money to eventually leave their territory for a nicer region. Will the presence of the new stranger, Petrik change her plans? Time will tell.
I'm looking forward to reading the remainder of this novel, and Book Two that will follow!
