A main character with social anxiety and magical forging skills? Yes, please!

A divided kingdom, a socially awkward and anxious metalsmith, and a magician who wants to interview her to learn about her magic. Our main character wants a world with only her and her sister, but the world's trouble is nipping at their heels. I can tell there will be a lot of character growth and emotional turmoil just from the first chapter, and character driven stories are my favorite. Compelling magic, characters, and world building. I can't wait to read more!
