This is the perfect book for this time of year! It has a vert spooky vibe paired with a monster I have never seen in a book before, the Moth-Winged Man! The mystery paired with the Halloween-y feel of this book is fantastic especially when you start reading and meet the sisters. The book is told from Linden’s point of view, but she along with her three sisters are determined to solve the mystery around what happened to her last summer. Linden and her sisters, along with the rest of the women in their family, all have magical traits that while normal for them, are not considered normal to everyone else in their town. Their family is known for their quirks and the herbal remedies they pedal. I really enjoyed the family feel of this book and going through the mystery to find out what happened to Linden, the Moth-Winged Man and all of the other mysteries. Definitely add this to your October tbr!
