I really like that the chapters are a decent length, not too long but not too short either. And I also like the way the book is written, in the way that it seems realistic but also unrealistic at the same time. It has a nice balance between believably realistic and too far fetched. I also really enjoy the mysterious undertone in even the most normal situations. The content is clean and refreshing, a nice break from a lot of other books. It flows at a nice speed, not too slow but also slow enough that you can follow along. It’s hard to judge based on only having read the first couple chapters, but I would love it even more if there was a little bit more world building and background information. It would help to make the story even more interesting and make it easier to follow. It would also help to be a bit more descriptive with the setting, such as the restaurant, the town, etc.
