This book was sadly a huge disappointment to me. This was a debut novel I was really excited for, it's young adult fantasy which is my favorite genre and had a bunch of things I enjoy such as witchy magic. This book follows Linden, who is an empath through taste what others feel. This affected her relationship with her ex Cole. She went missing the night they had a fight and comes back with no memory of what happened. When another girl goes missing and then dies she realizes she needs to get her memory back now. She has a few sisters that help her but no characters are very memorable. The romance was so boring and basic to me, I wasn't rooting for them or cared. Felt more middle grade than young adult to me. This book is almost four hundred pages and it could've been more like two hundred. Had a really promising synopsis though but fell so entirely flat.
