I really enjoyed this witchy read! The small town setting was so atmospheric and well written. I loved the James women and that each sister had their own distinct personality. It was really enjoyable to see the different dynamics between all the sisters and I found it really refreshing that they were all so open with each other and didn't keep any secrets. I hate when the investigation in mystery books is clearly hindered by the protagonist keeping details to themself so it was great to see all the sisters collaborating! I also found the powers/gifts each sister had to be super unique.

The mystery was super complex and questions kept being brought up with not much being answered. About half way through the book I did start to get confused about all the different elements/clues/questions since there were so many to keep track of. I trusted that it would all be wrapped up and explained to us and it was! The reveal and explanation tied everything together and laid it all out clearly, but was maybe a tad rushed.

I definitely enjoyed reading about the town, the diner, and the James sisters so I am very excited to read the companion novel! I'm hoping it focuses on Rowan (the sister I relate to most who I weirdly kinda ship with Hadrian), but honestly I want a book focusing on each sister!
