I love reading witchy books this time of year. So I was excited to see a new series coming out this month. Bittersweet in the Hollow is a beautiful debut. I really loved the descriptive and atmospheric writing style. The pacing and progression of the story were both perfect.
This beautiful story had a little of everything- romance, horror, folklore, and mystery. I really enjoyed the characters. I’ve read multiple books about sisters lately and it never gets old. The James sisters are all unique and engaging.
The narrator did a fantastic job. Her voice fit so well with the atmospheric writing. She really kept me engaged throughout the story.
