This is the type of fantasy I find interesting. Author Kate Pursall has quite a collection of people with interesting and unusual traits. Her plot moves along well as she gives background information about the sisters, their family, and others. One wonders what evil lurks in the forest and how Linden and perhaps Cole will be further involved in all this.
