I can't tell you how excited I was when I saw that this was set in Appalachia! It is so refreshing to read something in a setting inspired by an area I love. Even the very first sentence reminded me of home haha! I am already invested in this storyline from this first look, and I will absolutely purchase a copy of this book. I am so thrilled to see Appalachia represented in a young adult novel!
