The cover caught my attention, the synopsis sounded very interesting, but the story lagged. I found myself reading the words but not hearing the story. My mind wondered.
I did like the idea of the sisters all having a different 'power'. I do like witchy stories. This just did not hold my attention.
Especially when the author gets a hold of a thesaurus and uses words that are not very common at all. For example: diaphanous. Really? You just could say a light 'delicate' dress.
