This reminded me of Anna-Marie McLemore and her magical realistic writings, mixed with some sinister Appalachian in the likes of Elizabeth Kilcoyne. Our main character Linden, disappeared in the forest for a night and doesn't remember anything a year later. When another girl goes missing, Linden and her sisters head into the first to solve a mystery. I can't wait to read this fully!
