The first thing about this book was the cover. It drew me in before I even started to read. The story is interesting so far. There is a lot of detail which helps you feel like you're standing in the story while reading it. I did not really get into the story until the second chapter but it does pick up. Overall, I am intrigued by Linden's story to keep reading on. I would be curious to see what happens and how the story plays out. I also really liked the James Family book of Mountain Wisdom.
