The cover art automatically drew me into reading the first look. I love the first page of the book that details June's moon and the garden and forage that are in season. This page immediately felt cozy and pulled me right into the folklore world that this story takes place in. I loved the intricacies of the family dynamics explored in the first chapters of this book. This book gives me autumn vibes and would absolutely be the best book to curl up with on a chilly, rainy autumn day. I would love to get my hands on the entirety of this book!
