I loved this book. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to seeing what is next for her. This is a well written, historical story where the characters are written with a lot of heart and soul. They are characters that will pull at your heart strings one moment and make you sad in another. They took me on an emotional roller coaster I didn't want to get off from. Bea is such a strong character and is inspiring as well. She is my favorite of the story. I felt bad for her throughout the story. This is a fast paced story where the author told the story in view of all characters which made it easy to read. I read this book in a couple of days as it is that awesome. There is great growth with the characters as well as the plot throughout. This is a must read story where the twists and turns you will not see coming until it happens. I highly recommend this book!
