I would like to thank BookishFirst and Celadon Books for the ARC of this book.

I really did enjoy this book. This is a beautiful coming of age story about Bea told through the perspective of many different characters. It spans over 37 years and tells the story of a girl struggling to find where she truly feels her home is.

The way the author chose to tell the story is interesting. Each chapter is from the perspective of a different character which I did enjoy. It helps you see the story from all different sides and understand the characters better. For most of the book she chooses not to use quotation marks but rather write the dialogue into the paragraphs. I have not read a book like this before so I found it a little cumbersome at times. In one section of the book she changes and does use quotation marks, but then in the next section goes back to not using them. I did become used to it after a while, but just something to note if this is something that bothers you.

Overall I really enjoyed Bea’s story!
