The excerpt was too short to get a good feel for the story. I like the multiple POVs, and I think I'm going to like the characters. I don't always like books that go back-and-forth in time, but based on the table of contents, it appears that this will go chronologically. I am interested in historical fiction of that time and would be interested in checking this book out further.
