I enjoyed the prologue. It set the scene of a happy family doing normal family activities. Hovering over this idyllic scene is the knowledge that it may soon end. I was immediately pulled into the story. Part One then took me away from that lovely scene and into the struggle when Beatrix is ripped from her family and made to go to America. I am now eager to know the full story.
