Finally, a book of historical fiction, my favorite genre! The situation described of families in England sending their children to safer areas during WWII I know was a very real occurrence. That would have been so difficult. I like the way the author has chapters devoted to the thoughts of each of the characters. I like getting into the head of Beatrice, her parents, and those of members of her family in America. I think his will be an interesting book to read.
