I have had my eye on this book since the fall of 2022. After reading the synopsis, I knew this book was right up my alley. I love reading historical fiction, especially novels set during WW2. The concept of the novel is pretty unique and highlights an important part of the war with British children escaping their homeland to find safety in America. This is something I haven't seen too often in my reading and am definitely interested!
