I read the First Impression of Laura Spence-Ash's "Beyond That, the Sea" on BookishFirst. This is the story of Beatrix, an 11 year old girl who is sent to America during WWII to live with another family to keep her safe. I'm intrigued by this story and there was just enough to make me certain that I will be reading this book once it is published.
