I am a big fan of historical fiction, so I was looking forward to reading the sample pages. With different perspectives spanning multiple decades, the novel seemed disjointed. I wanted to like the novel, but I am not certain it will strike my interest. The cover art does a good job of conveying the story and might attract attention on bookstore or library shelves.
